The Telugu audience in USA didn’t show much interest in Nagarjuna’s latest movie “Raju Gari Gadhi 2” as it did post low numbers in its first weekend.
Nagarjuna is one of the few Tollywood stars who has had two movies “Manam” and “Oopiri” that have grossed more than 1.5 million dollars but he has scored second flop this year at North American box-office.
His devotional film “Om Namo Venkateshaya” early this year bombed like anything and brought nearly Rs 5 Cr losses to the USA distributor.
“Raju Gari Gadhi 2” has received mixed talk but trade expected a minimum of half million dollars opening in the first weekend. But “RGG 2” didn’t even go past 300k dollars. The film’s weekend openings are mere 275k dollars (estimates).

Since the film was released by the producer PVP himself, there is no buyer to lose money on the investment.
