All the three Sankranthi releases quickly deflated at the US box office after starting off on a high note. None of the films could collect at least $200K over the second weekend, which is staggeringly low compared to their first weekend collections.
Khaidi No. 150 that collected over 2 Million in its first weekend only managed another $149K from Friday till Sunday.
Gautamiputra Satakarni that has dominated the box office right from its release day, lost steam in quick time and only collected $148K in its second weekend. This is peanuts considering the number of screens they were running in.
Shatamanam Bhavati also couldn’t draw decent audience in its second weekend as it only collected $133K from Friday to Sunday. However, its screen average is a bit better than the biggies. Total collection of Sankranthi films after first Sunday:
