Small film “Pellichoopulu” is continuing its dream run at box-office in Nizam. The film is an universal hit but so far it has collected maximum in Nizam and overseas markets. In Overseas, it has already grossed about Rs 4 Cr.
Now, in the Nizam territory, “Pellichoopulu” has raked in Rs 3.25 Cr share. A record amount for such a small movie! By end of its entire run, D Suresh Babu, who bought the movie from the original producers, is expecting Rs 5 Cr share from Nizam. Overall, the movie is expected to collect more than Rs 11 Cr share worldwide by end of its entire run.
“Pellichoopulu” featured Vijay Devarakonda, Ritu Varma and Anish Kuruvilla in the lead roles and it was directed by newcomer Tharun Bhascker. Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni have produced the film, while D Suresh Babu liked the film and bought its entire theatrical rights from them.
