The dismal show of "Om Namo Venkatesaya" at box-office has sent shockwaves in Tollywood industry.
The industry has witnessed many disasters in the past and utter flops for Nagarjuna was not new but the pathetic collections for the movie in Andhra and Telangana was rude blow to all parties involved.
Never did Nagarjuna's film post such low numbers in the first week of its release. Yes, the movie collected mere Rs 5.56 Cr in the entire first week of its run in the two states when most big movies are collecting a share of Rs 10 Cr on the opening day.
Nagarjuna's last three movies collected with the average share of Rs 45 Cr each. So, trade expected decent openings for the movie considering its genre. But the movie opened with poor numbers and continued the same show all through week.
For all the distributors the investment they put on the movie is a total washout.
