Tamil TV-actor-turned hero Siva Karthikeyan's Tollywood debut will go down as a nightmare. The film's collections are so poor that not even its publicity costs would be recovered, say trade analysts.
Apparently, the film's original producers have shelled out a bomb on promotions in Telugu alone. If buzz is to be believed, a whopping Rs 2.5 Crore alone is spent on publicity & advertising.
Though Dil Raju, who released the film, tried his best by giving as number of his theatres in addition to grand publicity, the film has failed to get any decent openings.
On other hand, Srinivas Reddy's Jayammu Nischayammu Raa too have got weak openings.
Overcoming demonetisation effect, the only surprise winner is Nikhil's Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada that is ruling the roost at Box office even two weeks after its release.
