Nagarjuna’s upcoming devotional film Om Namo Venkatesaya directed by veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao is red hot in the trade. Distribution circles believe this film to be a sure shot blockbuster like Annamayya.
It has been many years since Raghavendra Rao helmed a film, but that is not stopping buyers to offer huge amounts for ONV distribution rights. Nagarjuna’s recent success at the box office is also helping it fetch high prices.
As per reports, Om Namo Venkatesaya overseas distribution rights were bought for a whopping 6 crore. This is huge even if we take Nag’s recent success at overseas ticket window.
Distributor must be hoping that a devotional film on Lord Venkateswara could draw the family audience in big numbers.
