Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” has finally crossed $1 million mark in USA in its third day (inclusive of premieres).
In Superstar Mahesh’s career this another $1 million movie but it is not a big achievement considering his track record in this market.
In fact, “Maharshi” is underperforming in USA though the film is doing well in domestic Indian market. Number of screens are less for this movie and other factors have added to its woes.
By end of the Friday, the film grossed $924k and on Saturday it has crossed the $1 million mark even before the end of the day.

“Maharshi” is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. It is Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie that has socially relevant message. However, the word-of-mouth and reviews generated mixed reactions.
