In its opening weekend, Pawan Kalyan's "Katamarayudu" has grossed one million dollars. Although the film took lowest premiere gross, the movie picked up its collection slightly on Saturday and Sunday.
Getting one million dollars gross in the opening weekend in today's times is not a big achievement for a big starrer movie.
This year Chiranjeevi's "Khaidi No 150" grossed whopping two million dollars in the first weekend.
On other hand, many recent hits like Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Gautamiputra Satakarni" also collected more than one million dollars in the opening weekend.
To get break-even for the distributor, the movie has to collect more than one and half million dollars from now on.
"Katamarayudu" is now stands at $1,009,057.
