First half of 2017 has given mixed results for Telugu cinema industry. Baahubali 2 emerged as the all time blockbuster by shattering records all over India and America.
Shatamanam Bhavati is the biggest hit in terms of Return on investment basis and Khaidi No. 150 has set Non-Baahubali record by collecting over Rs. 100 crore share from Telugu language alone.
Nenu Local and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam turned out to be super hits by giving good returns to their buyers and films like Ghazi, Guru and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha are among the handful of hit films that Tollywood has produced in this year thus far.
Duvvada Jagannadham that was recently released is hovering around the average mark at the moment. It is still running on shares but achieving hit status looks unlikely.
Andhhagadu, Ami Thumi and Keshava movies are among the average grossing films that did well in select centers.
Om Namo Venkatesaya, Mister, Winner, Katamarayudu, Cheliya, Rogue, Babu Baga Busy, Fashion Designer and a few other notable films ended up as huge failures.
