Bharat Ane Nenu took a sensational start at box office and raked in over Rs. 90 crore gross worldwide in its opening weekend.
The film is particularly strong in areas like Nizam, Uttarandhra, Krishna, Guntur, Karnataka and Chennai.
While its performance in USA, East and West Godavari is par, it has been below par in Ceded and Nellore so far.
Morning show collections on its first Monday are just okay in many centers and decent in A centers. It is expected to pick up from Matinee shows and continue to perform steadily through the first week.
The film is sold for very high prices that it should hold well during week days to reach the breakeven mark by next weekend.
BAN’s first weekend numbers are slightly better than recent blockbuster Rangasthalam, but the latter’s pre release business is twenty percent less than that of the former.
Rangasthalam’s breakeven figure was Rs. 80 crore, but BAN needs to collect Rs. 100 crore to be termed as a hit.
Buyers are hoping that BAN also would have long run at box office like Rangasthalam to make handsome profits for them.
