War-at-sea thriller Ghazi is having a fabulous run at the box office both in domestic circuit as well as in overseas market.
The film has collected over $450K in its first weekend in US and is all set to enter the half million club. This is a terrific achievement for a film that is unconventional in many ways.
Star-studded films and entertainers usually do well in the US market, but for a change a war genre film has set the cash registers ringing.
After an excellent Friday and Saturday, Ghazi continued to impress on Sunday as it added another $136,087 to its tally. Ghazi collected $451,287 till Sunday and is likely to add another $150K to $200K in its full run.
Given its pre release business and buzz, this is exceptional. Ghazi is heading towards achieving super hit status in the domestic circuit too.
The makers who have risked and released the film on their own in many areas are reaping rich dividends.
