Naga Chaitanya starrer 'Premam' has ended its first week on grand note. Despite competition from other movies, the film scored good in its first week worldwide, the best in Naga Chaitanya’s career.
“Premam” competed with “Eedu Gold Ehe”, “Abhinetri”, and “Mana Oori Ramayanam”. While all the movies tanked at the box-office after taking decent collections in the first two days, “Premam” steadily gained more.
It has successfully entered into second week. In some areas, new theatres have been added.
The film has performed exceedingly well in Coastal Andhra then followed by overseas. In USA, by end of first week, the movie grossed 600k dollars.
Strangely, the film under performed in Nizam area as many of youngsters have seen the original Malayalam movie which ran in Hyderabad for several weeks. Still, the movie’s worldwide collections are pretty good.
