Sekhar Kammula's sensational blockbuster "Fidaa" was premiered on television last week and the movie has emerged as one of the most viewed movies on Telugu screen ever.
The film's world television premiere got 21.3 TVR points, which is on par with the ratings of 'Baahubali The Beginning' and 'Janatha Garage'.
Even as 'Fidaa' was running in some theaters, the film was premiered on TV. Yet it received such mammoth TRPs, showing the film's popularity.
It struck a chord with all kind of audiences and all regions in Telugu states.
"Fidaa", a love story between a Bhansuwada girl and an NRI, had collected Rs 50 Cr in movie theaters worldwide.
The film gave new lease of life to director Sekhar Kammula and made Sai Pallavi an overnight star in Tollywood.
