Ram Charan is enjoying that his movie is joining the club of one-million dollars. But the overseas distributors of “Dhruva” are still in panic mode. They need to get another half-million dollars to gain profits from this project.
Everybody knows that Ram Charan doesn’t have great market in USA. Still the USA distributors bought it for the staggering price of Rs 5.3 Cr.
Ram Charan, Aravind Swamy and Surender Reddy attended the premiere shows in USA. The distributor also burnt some money on their expenses. So, if they want to enjoy the profits from this movie, the film ought to rake in minimum of one and half million dollars from USA market.
Going by the current trend, it may end up with the gross of 1.20 or 1.30 million dollars. While “Dhruva” performed exceedingly well in its opening weekend, the high price for acquisition rights is the reason for distributors still being in tension.
