Jr NTR’s Devara experienced a decline in viewership on Netflix during its second week, registering 1.9 million views. Despite its strong start, the film now stands in seventh place on Netflix's global list of trending films.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s The Buckingham Murders outperformed Devara this week, accumulating 3.9 million views compared to the 1.9 million logged by Koratala Siva’s magnum opus, which features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist.
Over two weeks, Devara, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor, has garnered a total of 4.1 million views, while The Buckingham Murders leads with 6.8 million views.
Currently, Devara ranks as the seventh most-viewed South Indian film on Netflix in 2024.
With 4.1 million views, it has achieved 77% of the total views earned by Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which recorded 5.3 million views in its first two weeks, securing the fifth spot among South Indian films on Netflix this year.
To surpass Nani’s position, Jr NTR’s Devara needs to gain an additional 1.2 million views.
