Sai Dharam Tej starrer "Winner" collected superb figure of Rs 5.60 Cr in AP and Telangana on the first day but it has not maintained the same momentum the next day.
On the second day, the movie collected less than 50 percent of the opening day as it got share of Rs 2.29 Cr.
The mass movie might pick up on Sunday as it is being the holiday and it may cross Rs 10 Cr opening weekend.
Considering the strength of Sai Dharam Tej, this is good opening. He has proved that he can pull such good openings despite content is weak.
But biggest challenge for the movie is to perform strongly from onwards. Producers Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu have done a pre-release business of Rs 23 Cr.
If they have to recover the money, the movie needs to collect more than 14 Cr from Monday onwards.
In USA market, the Saturday collections too are low.
