As the hype around the movie was huge, NTR's "Janatha Garage" took box-office by the storm.
On the day one, it has created records in many districts in Andhra and Khammam in Telangana. Even in USA, the film has become third all-time biggest opening movie with premiere shows.
As per the rough estimate, the film has collected a share of Rs 20 Cr on Day 1 from Telugu states. This amount is includes share gaurantees, etc.
In Tamilnadu, the film also opened in big way with about 25 lakhs share. This is highest for a non-Baahubali film. If we add Malayalam version's and rest of India's amount, the day one collections would be huge.

The collections on Day 2 will not be huge as in AP and Telangana, Bandh will affect the collections in the morning and matinee shows.
