This week's new release "Luckunnodu" has not set box-office on fire. Although the film hit the screens on a holiday, it has only registered moderate openings.
The other two Hindi releases - "Kaabil" and "Raees" have got mixed talk. So, none of these new releases have posed a competition to the still running Sankranthi movies.
The long weekend is going to help "Khaidi No 150" and "Shatamanam Bhavati" which are already doing good business.
On Republic day, "Shatamanam Bhavati" has registered houseful collections in all multiplexes in Hyderabad, while "Khaidi No 150" has posted strong numbers in Andhra area. These two movies are going to add more moolah to their kitty this weekend.
Of these two, "Shatamanam Bhavati" is performing better thanks to the family-oriented content. As one analyst put Dil Raju has become real "Luckunnodu". The movie is routine affair but the holidays and other factors are helping it.
Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Gautamiputra Satakarni" is posting very low numbers from the past one week. It has almost completed its run in theatres. But it may also add some good numbers this long weekend.
