Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Jai Simha" grossed maximum amount from the Ceded area during these Sankranthi holidays.
In the first five days, the movie grossed a share of Rs 4.60 Cr which is huge considering its content and competition.
"Jai Simha" was sold for moderate prices and the distributors are all set to recover their investment by next week.
Traditionally, movies of Nandamuri heroes perform rather well in Ceded area and Balakrishna had set records in this region. He has once again proved his supremacy here with 'Jai Simha' that has pretty below average content.
Since this is the only masala movie, the audiences in Ceded area have voted for it. This is now being declared by the trade as Sankranthi winner, though it is yet to fully recover the investment.
