Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer and his mother Rohini have acquired a small 525 sft apartment in Mumbai for Rs 2.9 crore.
According to a report, this transaction was confirmed through property registration documents obtained by Zapkey. The registration of the purchase took place on September 19.
Situated on the second floor of Triveni Industrial CHSL the apartment is nestled in the upscale Adarsh Nagar neighborhood of Worli.
Known for its prime location and modern amenities the property adds to Iyer's portfolio of investments in real estate. Though small in size, the location is the reason for this exorbitant price.
This acquisition not only speaks volumes about Iyer's success as a sportsman but also reflects the growing trend among celebs to invest in high end properties, be they big or small, in major urban centers.
