A 23-year-old student from Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh was found murdered in her hostel room at the University of Wolverhampton in United Kingdom.
VS Jyothirmayee was a student of Physiotherapy and was found dead in her hostel room, which she shared with two other students.
According to reports coming from London suggest that Jyothirmayee was murdered last night (May 6) and her room mates were also attacked and injured in the incident.
The girl's parents got a telephonic message from her friends in London following which the parents approached the Vijayawada city police commissioner K V Rajendranath Reddy for assistance to bring the girl's body. Reports said the girl's parents also sought the help of Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is on a London tour, to help them bring back the body.
Robbery is suspected to be the reason for the attack.
