The greatness of a person is not gauged by the wealth he earned but by the affection Showered upon him. Bhakta Balla was unanimously elected as the Regional Representative WEST for the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), 2013-2015 tenure. Number of people that attended the victory celebrations is a proof of his greatness and The Victory celebrations took place on Friday, March 15th in Silicon Valley, California and was attended by friends and well wishers.
Hundreds of supporters from Bay Area attended the celebrations and some even came all the way from Los Angeles. The list of attendees included people working for multinational corporations like Oracle, Google, Yahoo, Cisco, Intel and also included the people from the Business Sector in the Bay Area.
The event started with the introductory speech by Kalyan Palla (Producer of Inkosaari) welcoming the gathering. Kalyan Palla congratulated Bhakta Balla for his victory and told the audience about the need of a leader like Bhakta Balla to serve the Telugu community.
Later Chandra Guntupalli (Bay Area active community leader) spoke about the philanthropic deeds Of Bhakta Balla. Kiran Prabha (Koumudi Telugu Webzine Editor) spoke about the importance of youth in TANA and appreciated Bhakta Balla for his audacious and magnanimous personality.
Anand Kuchibhotla (Founder Chairman of Silicon Andhra) hoped that selfless leader like Bhakta should continue to serve the society without any political affiliations. Dilip Kondiparti (Silicon Andhra Vice-chairman) commended Bhakta Balla and his friends for their service to the community. Suresh Reddy Vuyyuru (YSRCP-Bay Area), Vijay Chava (Telangana Development Forum Founder) and Vijay Saradhi Jeedigunta(Father of Tollywood Hero Varun Sandesh) congratulated Bhakta Balla.

Bhakta Balla told the audience that more than the victory in the elections, it is the affection and admiration shown upon him is precious to him. He promised that he will continue to serve the Telugu Community and thanked all his supporters for giving him this victory.
Bhakta Balla introduced Sreekanth Doddapaneni who is contesting for the Joint Treasurer position in TANA and urged the attendees to support Sreekanth in the ongoing TANA elections for 2013-2015.
The celebrations started at 7PM and went till the early hours.
