Uma Maheswari Kandula passed away in Austin

Dallas, TX: Kandula Uma Maheswari, 30 yrs, native of Tirupathi, suddenly passed away at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock city, Texas on Friday, January 7th just after delivering a healthy baby girl. Uma Maheswari after completing MCA joined her husband Chenna Reddy Korvi in Austin just four years ago. Both parents of Uma Maheswari and Chennareddy were very jubilant after hearing her expected delivery and came to USA to be with her during the delivery time. Uma delivered a healthy baby girl on Friday around 11:30 AM and suddenly passed away within an hour. Primary reports indicate that blood clot might be the reason for her death. But parents are still waiting for a detailed autopsy report. Chenna Reddy works for IBM in Austin as a software engineer. 
 
Rajesh Chalasani, friend of Korvi family, has approached TANA officials for help in sending the deceased to India.      
 
Prasad Thotakura, TANA President-elect, Murali Vennam, TANA Regional Director, Ram Yalamanchili, TANA Treasurer and a team of volunteers are assisting with the procedures in contacting concerned authorities, consulate officials as well as funeral home staff. It is expected that the deceased reach Tirupathi by Wednesday.
