Trump's Bold Moves On Day One In Office

Trump's Bold Moves On Day One In Office

Donald Trump is now the 47th President of the United States. He won triumphantly and will assume office in January 2025.

During his earlier campaigns, he stated he would sign the following on his first day in office:

1. Border and Energy Policies: Trump plans to close the U.S. border and resume extensive drilling to boost domestic energy production.

2. Firing Special Counsel: Trump aims to dismiss Special Counsel Jack Smith, who led cases against him, within moments of taking office.

3. Pardoning January 6 Defendants: Trump intends to pardon several convicted January 6 rioters, whom he claims are unjustly imprisoned.

4. Ending Climate Initiatives: Trump promises to dismantle "Green New Deal" initiatives, including offshore wind projects, labeling them economically harmful.

5. Mass Deportations: He pledges the largest deportation program in U.S. history, using law enforcement and the National Guard.

6. Green Cards for Graduates: In a shift, Trump supports automatic green cards for college graduates to retain skilled workers in the U.S. However, this plan is limited only to highly meritorious students from top-tier universities like Harvard, MIT, and similar institutions. It does not apply to all students. So, those who hope to obtain a green card simply by paying tuition and attending a two-year in a random college, should reconsider their day-dreams.

We have to see how many of these promises he will fulfill.
