Telugu Association Southern California (TASC) 2016 team conducted the inaugural pooja on January 10th, 2016 at Irvine Mandir. This is a annual ritual that every TASC team performs to take the blessings and wishing for a successful year.
There was a very happy and festive atmosphere at the temple with more than 150 well wishers and volunteers of TASC attending the event. Pooja was performed in a very traditional Telugu way.
There was lot of enthusiasm and excitement in the volunteers to start the 2016 events. TASC President Bayapa Reddy introduced the Executive Committee and all the chairs to everyone. He explained in detail his plan for the year and the various activities they want to conduct.
This year being the 45th year of TASC, we wants to celebrate in a grand style and will have at least one TASC event in every month of this year. He requested all the TASC members to show their continued support and become part of this organization and participate in the various events.
This inaugural pooja event was attended by community leaders from various organizations like NATA, NATS, ATA, Tri Valley Telugu Sangam, TDF and Manabadi. Everyone wished good luck to 2016 EC team Bayapa Reddy (President), Butchi Reddy Yalamuri (Secretary), Rajendhar Gujjula (Treasurer), Ram Koditala (President-Elect) and Mallik Bonthu (Past President).

Sri. Dharma Reddy Gummadi garu presented first donation check to TASC like every year and followed by Lakhman Koka garu.
