The US government has given the highest number of Visas to Indian students this year.
The country is facing a financial crisis since Covid 19 lockdown and has opened its educational institutions for the foreign students to fill the coffers.
Accordingly, for the first time in the recent past, the US had given admissions to 82,000 students from India.
More interesting point is that 40 percent of these (around 33,000) visas were given to the students from the two Telugu states- AP and Telangana.
Another interesting point is that Indian students received the highest number of visas this year when compared to the students from other countries in the world.
Students from the Telugu States have been looking at the US for higher education for quite some time. Before the Covid 19, the student visas were not as liberal as they were this year.
The US opened its universities this year as never before. Besides the financial crisis, the US is also facing the shortage of manpower on its land.
Indian students have been loyal to the US for decades and this is one of the reasons why the nation has given its visas to the Indian students.
This is going to be a big boost for the US economy for sure. Restaurants and food joints earn better. Not only that, the Telugu cinema also flourishes a bit better than before in the USA as at least 25% of the Telugu students will be avid film lovers.
