Telugu Language And Heritage Month - Team

TEAM (Telugu Association of Minnesota) has been around since 1990. TEAM is a non-profit organization to preserve Telugu Language, Culture and Heritage of Telugu speaking Minnesotans.

TEAM has worked closely with State of Minnesota and is proud to share the good news with Telugu Community that we were awarded the proclamation by Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz, honoring March as TELUGU LANGUAGE AND HERITAGE MONTH.

This positive impact on Telugu community will resonate powerfully to future generations keeping Telugu culture, heritage and language alive.

As part of proclamation, Telugu community celebrates their rich culture and heritage throughout March with various literacy programs such as Telugu language reading, writing, singing, poetry, speech competitions (March14th) and Ugadi (Telugu New year) (March28th).

TEAM partnered with India Association of Minnesota(IAM) to spread the awareness of participating in Census 2020. TEAM will have IAM president Sreenivas Checka speak about census in these events.
