Srungavarapu Niranjan Is The New TANA President

Srungavarapu Niranjan won the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) election with a thumping majority.

He hails from Kurnool in India and now he is going to take up the responsibilities as the President of TANA shortly. He won with a majority of 1758 votes from the main opponent Naren Kodali.

While Niranjan procured 10866 votes, Naren could make 9108 votes. Niranjan's panel is in celebration mode now.

The Niranjan's team campaigned in every corner with their slogan "Kodali Odali".

As there are 33,875 votes in TANA, about 21000 were polled. Almost 2800 votes became null and void. It was a neck to neck fight between the two panels this time.

It is known that Srungavarapu Niranjan was supported by the present TANA President Jaya Sekhar Talluri and Anjiah Chowdary.

On the other hand Kodali Naren was supported by the former TANA President Jayaram Komati and Satish Vemana.
