On the occasion of Mother's Day several celebrities came forward with posts featuring their loving moms.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also posted a throwback pic of mom holding infant Sachin in her hands.
He tweeted, "You are AAI to me because besides everything else you are Always Amazing & Irreplaceable. Thank you for everything you have done for me. #Happy Mothers Day, Aai".
Apart from this wish, Sachin participated in an inspiring programme yesterday.
As part of a special programme to have a chat with the mothers who are working tirelessly in the Covid-19 crisis, he interacted with many mothers. The list of mothers was from different professions who are on the frontline of battling with Covid-19.
He has extensively spoke to a district collector, a medical professional, a social activist, a police commissioner, health workers, a journalist, etc. and listened to their stories.
He said he was moved by a mother's story and said that she is unable to give a hug to her child because she is actively participating in Covid relief work.
Sachin called them Covid Warriors.
