There was a terrific road accident in California, USA in which five indians dead. This happened on 25th December in west of the Kern County line at 7:30 p.m on chrismas day. All five victims burnt to dead in their rental car while driving. The victims are believed to be hailed from Tamil Nadu, India. Two of them are employees of Cognizant Technologies, India. Incident happened when the group went to San Louis Obispo valley on chrismas eve for picnic. Police are having trouble in finding the details/ identifying the victims as none of their family members are in US.
The car went off the south side of the highway 46, through a barbed wire fence and hit the side of a ravine. The vehicle then caught fire; all five occupants were trapped inside and died. Victims are believed to be Natarajan, Mala, Povarasam and two others - wife of Povarasam and son/daughter of Natarajan. Mala and Povarasam are contractors at United Healthcare working on behalf on Cognizant. Povarasam got married 6 months ago.
Cognizant has been informed about the accident and they are making arrangements so that family members of the victims can visit US. Victims live in Cyprus, California.
