The city of Hyderabad has never been short of book lovers and whenever there has been a book fair the crowds have been quite large in number. This time again, it is the Hyderabad book fair that is currently on near the necklace road and this will go on till the 28th of this month.
It is being heard that the response for this has been quite decent but unlike the past few years this time the hot sellers have turned out to be books related to sex and Children's books. This seems to be a new trend of sorts and given the usual skeptical approach towards books of that genre, this is an interesting development.
On the other hand, folks say that the variety of books has not been that good and even the prices were sometimes not reasonable. With internet, media and other electronic forms getting more prominent, books might have their own set of loyal clientele but then care must be taken to ensure quality prevails.
