Philadelphia: There are many Telugu people already landed in Downtown Philadelphia for the upcoming NATA convention which is planned from July 6 to July 8.
The hotels and streets are filled with Telugu people. The Philadelphia convention center is decorated in grand style and ready for the convention.
The convention will start with Banquette dinner on July 6th. NATA will award the NRI Telugus who worked in various fields on this day. For this event, Sri Jagadish Reddy, minister for power in Telengana, Vemreddy Prabhakar Reddy, MP, Maganti Srinivas Reddy MLC,Vijayasai Reddy MP, Revanth Reddy, Krishnasagar, Madhu Yashiki, Mithun Reddy, Pradeep Kumar, Janga Ragava Reddy are going to participate.
The evening will be entertained with the cine artists coming from India. There will be a special program to recognize Jnanapeeti Dr. C. Narayan Reddy and Padmasri Sri Nerella Venumadhav. The event is organized under the supervision of Dr. Prem Reddy, Chair-Advisory Council, Sri Rajeshwar Reddy Gangasani, President, Sri Srinivas Ganagoni, IVP and Media Chair person.
The inaugural event is scheduled on July 7th at 9.00 am on main stage at Philadelphia Convention Center. The guests will be welcomed with Poorna Kumbham, priests will perform pooja and the chief guest Sri Uttam Kumar Reddy TPCC President will inaugurate the event.
The event will start with US and Indian national anthem. On the same day the souvenir will be released. First time NATA Mobile App will be launched on stage. Since NATA’s head office is in New Jersey, Senator Samuel Thompson will participate in the inaugural event as an honorary guest. Upendra Chivukula, Commissioner of NJ Public Utilities will participate as a special guest for NATA.
Prominent Telugu actor Ali will be the brand ambassador for the convention, there will be many meetings for the alumni, Alitho saradaga programs, seminars on business startup, CME, literary, NATA Nari, matrimony and youth carnival are planned.
More importantly on Sunday July 8th, Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed with the priests coming from TTD. There will be several programs planned in various meeting rooms from 9.00 am to 12.00 midnight in both the days.
The New Jersey State Senate and Assembly issued an official resolution in the state senate & assembly and issued a proclamation to NATA for their service activities. The proclamation will be handed over to NATA leadership in the NATA convention on the main stage.
The whole process was coordinated by Sri Srinivas Ganagoni, IVP and Media Committee Chair with the help of Senator Vin Gopal to make this possible.
On July 8th night grand finale, the world famous drummer Sri Sivamani will entertain the crowd with in grand style, Saketh, music director along with his singers Madhu Priya, Adharshini, Swathi Reddy, Shakti Sri, Sumangali, Hari Teja, Ramu will entertain the crowd.
The Jabardast fame Sudigali Sudheer’s will entertain the audience with his comedy skits said Sri Srinivas Ganagoni, Media Committee chair.
