Naga Phani Sharma Into Real Estate?

He was once the ruling king of Telugu literature and classical poetry and has the credit of being titled as 'Sahasravadhani' with the ability to churn out a poem with a random word or subject. Today, he is being looked at as a sexual molester and has been sidetracked completely. He is none other than Madugula Nagaphani Sarma who was the most sought after intellectual and wise person.

After being alleged that he was involved in a sexual harassment issue somewhere in America, Nagaphani Sarma has gone into a complete oblivion and has been turning down invites to make public appearance. Meanwhile, folks have been curious as to what is his current activity.

There is news that he has now turned his eyes onto the real estate ventures and those lands that were given to him at Bhoodan Pochampally during the TDP regime seem to be his best bet. That was given to him by Chandrababu's government for the purpose of Avadhana Swaraswthi Peetam's University. There are those who are unclear since Chandrababu Naidu wouldn't have given the lands under general agreement but would have kept a clause stating that the land cannot be sold. All said and done this new role of Nagaphani Sarma sounds a bit unusual.

But who is the man behind all this? It is said that one Mr Rama Krishna Prasad, a writer cum poet, and a close ally of Nagaphani Sharma, who used to be key person in running his avadhanams, has indoctrinated Sharma to sell the lands. Rama Krishna Prasad brought defame to Nagaphani Sharma with his over action many times, say literary circles. Prasad treats Sharma as a demigod but many outsiders believe latter to be a poet and avadhani. Prasad's over action brought curses to Nagaphani Sharma and hence it is better for him to keep him as far as possible.
