Donald Trump narrowly escaped when a shooter opened fire intending to take his life. When Trump was injured at his ear after the shot, he involuntarily ducked down realizing the danger. Meanwhile, security guards surrounded him.
The shooter's aim was not fulfilled. He was shot by security forces on a terrace. A video is also circulating that shows the accused arguing with them before the shooting.
If the accused had been found alive, there would have been a possibility of prosecution, but why he was shot dead immediately is not known. If he were interrogated, the real conspiracy would become clear and it would be known if there is any provoking force behind.
After knowing that there was no more danger, Trump stood up and raised his fists shouting "USA USA." demonstrating his patriotism. This incident can be effectively used by Republicans for entire election campaign.
On the one hand, Joe Biden is suffering from mental health problems and is reportedly undergoing treatment. He is struggling to give the right answers in the debates, where Trump has clearly gained the upper hand.
On the other hand, the leaders of Biden's own party are averse to his presidential candidacy, and donors are also objecting.
Biden is not willing to leave the opportunity. The opposition to him within his party is weakening his stand.
At this juncture, will the shooting incident involving Trump bring any sympathy for him or any additional benefit? Sympathy sometimes works and many times fails looking into the history of democracies.
We have to see how the things unfold towards the elections scheduled in November this year.
