Kneel down and apologise, Ayesha tells Shoaib

Ayesha Siddiqui, the alleged first wife of Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, on Monday demanded that he should kneel down, apologise to her publicly and give her divorce before marrying tennis star Sania Mirza.

The family of Ayesha Siddiqui submitted a bunch of evidences to the Hyderabad police to prove that she had indeed married Shoaib Malik in June 2002.  “We have submitted all the proof to the police. All that we want is Shoaib kneel down, tender public apology to Ayesha and give her divorce. We do not want any monetary damages,” said Dr Syed Shams Babar, the family friend of Siddiquis and M A Rahman, the family lawyer.

Speaking to the media on behalf of Ayesha Siddiqui, Dr Babar admitted that she had physical intimacy with Shoaib leading to pregnancy and a miscarriage. “It is true that Ayesha had a miscarriage but I cannot tell which year it happened. Shoaib knew about it but did not bother. We have enough proofs against Shoaib they go beyond the marriage. The evidence has been shared with the police. It cannot be divulged," he said.
