Besides the Indian government, private corporations, prominent Indian groups are also trying to repatriate Indians trapped in the United States as a result of the Corona lockdown. This will be the first private carrier to fly from the United States after the lockdown eases.
On the 14th of this month,450 passengers will fly from Newark International Airport in New Jersey to Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad.
The flight was arranged by the US-India Solidarity Mission (USISM). The Indian Embassy in the US has also approved it.
Thousands of people travel from the US to India on a regular day & many Indians had to stay back in the US due to the lockdown.
