Sri Satya Krishna Chitturi, a 27-year-old youth from Andhra Pradesh, was killed during an armed robbery in the US on Thursday night.
According to reports, Satya Krishna was working as a store clerk at Crown Service Station on the old Birmingham highway in Alabama.
US police officials said Satya Krishna died on the spot in the armed attack. The body has been sent for an autopsy. A fundraising post made for Krishna said the AP youth went to the US just a month ago.
His wife is pregnant and they are expecting a baby. Further details about Krishna are not available.
The police department released the photos of the suspect. The suspect was seen wearing a black sweatshirt and is said to be more than six feet in height.
The City of Calera police department, Alabama, has asked the public to contact the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department, if they have any information.
