Former Miss Vizag Nakshatra exposed her husband, Tripurana Venkata Sai Teja, alleging his involvement in an extramarital affair in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.
Nakshatra brought media representatives to Teja's place, where they found him with another woman.
Nakshatra and Teja met while working on a film in 2013 and got married in 2017. They have a daughter.
According to Nakshatra, despite her efforts to salvage their marriage, Teja began engaging in extramarital relationships. She decided to confront Teja with the media present.
Teja, however, denied the allegations, stating that Nakshatra is falsely accusing him and his family. He claimed that he had been discussing a film at his office with the woman in question.
The incident has gained significant attention in Visakhapatnam due to extensive media coverage. The matter falls under the jurisdiction of the Three Town police station.
Three Town Circle Inspector Pardhasaradhi told media that the couple's divorce case has been ongoing in a family court since 2021.
“We have not filed any fresh FIR regarding the recent incident. We have counseled both parties,” he said.
