There has been lot of speculations on Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's 'Zanjeer' Telugu version title since a few months. Finally, the suspense has been cleared and the director of the film Apoorva Lakhia has announced that the Telugu version of 'Zanjeer' is titled ‘Thoofan’.

The makers have recently approached the think tank of mega family and have picked ‘Thoofan’ as the film’s title. Director Yogi of 'Chintakayala Ravi' fame is looking after the work of Zanjeer's Telugu version.

The first look teaser of 'Zanjeer' and ‘Thoofan’ will be unveiled on March 27 on the occasion of Ram Charan's 28th birthday.

The Telugu version is going to have major changes in the script to suit the image of Charan and also the sensibilities of Telugu audience. Priyanka Chopra is romancing Ram Charan in this action entertainer. Srihari will be seen playing the role of Sherkhan in ‘Thoofan’.

The makers are planning to release the film in both Hindi and Telugu languages simultaneously sometime in June.
