Dasari Narayana Rao is regarded as one of the pioneers of commercial cinema in Tollywood. He is also famous for blasting several actors with his fiery speeches.
Recently, Dasari has extended his support to the Telugu TV artists association who are protesting against the dubbing serials to protect the interest of the local talents. It's no wonder that the movement has gained the momentum after Dasari's arrival and the veteran too urged the local cable operators and TV channel owners not to screen dubbing serials as they are suppressing the local talents.
Things took an interesting turn when a reporter questioned Dasari on whether is he ready to take on Chiranjeevi who is one of the owners of Maa TV - the channel that is screening many dubbing serials daily. To our surprise Dasari changed his guard and said Chiru has high regard for me and if I ask him to stop telecasting dubbing serials on Maa TV, he won't say no to me!
Ever since Chiru entered politics Dasari is taking pot shots on the actor directly or indirectly. A few days ago Dasari asserted that there is only one superstar in India after NTR and that is Rajinikanth. But, what has made Dasari to change his tune all of a sudden? Well, it is his desperation to grab Chiru's attention, feels an insider.
