It is a known fact that the Telugu Desam Party is virtually struggling to survive, leave alone coming back to power in the state. What it requires now is a strong leadership that would restore its lost credibility.

However, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu wants the party leaders to sell their assets to save the party and bring it back to power.

“It is time we need to make a lot of sacrifices to save the TDP. If necessary, the party leaders and cadres should be prepared to sell their assets to protect the party and see that it comes back to power. We are facing an emergency-type of situation and we should not sleep till we come back to power. Even when you are sleeping, you should dream only about the party,” Naidu told the party leaders.

Well, Naidu should realise that charity should begin from home. He should take the lead and stand an example for the party leaders and cadres by selling his own assets which run into thousands of crores of rupees. Only then would party leaders and people believe him!
