Jagan Party Takes Lead On No-Trust Move!

Even as Telangana Rashtra Samithi is struggling to muster support from other parties to move a no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government, the YSR Congress party headed by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has grabbed the initiative.

The YSR Congress party on Wednesday announced that it would give the required notice to Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Thursday seeking to move the no-confidence motion against the Congress government.

“We will seek the support of all the other opposition parties. Let us all pull down this anti-people government,” YSR Congress party central governing council member and spokesman M V Mysura Reddy said.

In a way, the YSR Congress party has snubbed the TRS, which is trying corner all the other parties by raising the Telangana statehood issue during the no-confidence motion. It has also countered the allegation Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy that the TRS and YSRC had colluded to dislodge his government.
