Among all the TV channels that we watch ETV is considered as the most decent channel in terms of entertainment and quality programs. That is why it gets a lot of following from the family audience. However, recently they seem to have changed their track slightly. This was noticed in the program ‘Jabardasth’.

Basically, ETV is an entertainment channel and ‘Jabardasth’ is a program wherein comedians do skits. The noted film personalities Naga Babu and Roja are the judges while Anasuya is the anchor. But in one of the recent episodes something called ‘Rimbola Rimbola’ had come in.

This skit touched the heights of vulgarity with double meaning dialogues. The characters comprised of a cheap imitation of Sankarabharanam Somayajulu, Sirivennela’s blind man and Vidya Balan of ‘The Dirty Picture’. The entire skit was filled with Boothulu. These days, vulgarity in tv channels has become common but not in ETV. Many family ladies who watched this program with kids felt embarrassing. ETV is known for its decent and clean entertainment. It is better they correct such things.
