YSR Congress party honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi on Wednesday gave a clean chit to her son-in-law and evangelist Brother Anil Kumar in connection with various allegations of illegal investments and land grabbing against him.

“He is very innocent and righteous person. All the allegations against him are only political, aimed at targeting YSR Congress party and its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He has absolutely no connections with Rakshana Steels or Manikonda church land. Let there be any inquiry; he will come out clean,” Vijayamma said.

However, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member does not want to leave Anil Kumar. He lodged a complaint with Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Wednesday and demanded that a thorough inquiry be conducted into the allegations against Anil Kumar and the lands allotted to the Manikonda church be taken back.
