After keeping silent for some time, former union minister and Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy  is once again provoking union minister of state for commerce and textiles Daggubati Purandeshwari on the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat.

Though it is more than a year to go for the general elections unless they are advanced, Subbarami Reddy seems to have decided to nurture Visakhapatnam constituency from now. Otherwise, he would have struggle a lot to win the seat. And for that, he has to unseat Purandeshwari from Visakhapatna.

That is precisely the reason why Subbarami Reddy on Tuesday declared that Purandeshwari would contest from Narasraopet Lok Sabha constituency in the next general elections.

“According to my information, the Congress high command is contemplating fielding her from Narsaraopet and I am likely to contest from Visakhapatnam. It has taken the decision keeping in view the aspirations of the people of Visakhapatnam,” he said.

In the past, too, Subbarami Reddy made hectic lobbying for the Vizag seat. He told the high command that he had been under tremendous pressure from all sections of people in Visakhapatnam that he should represent them in Lok Sabha and it was better Purandeshwari is shifted to Ongole or Narasaraopet.

Now, it remains to be seen how Purandeshwari reacts to this announcement!
