One does not know what exactly is in the mind of the Centre on the contentious Telangana issue, but every day, some report or the other is appearing in the media on the probable solution to the vexed issue.
At a time when almost all the national dailies have predicted, quoting the home ministry sources, that the Centre would come out with a Gorkhaland-type solution for the Telangana, union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde dropped hints that there would not be any intermediary solution to the problem. He told the media in New Delhi on Monday that the Centre would take a decision “either this way or that way” (for Telangana or for United Andhra Pradesh).
Well, if the Centre takes such a decision, it will be once and for all solution to the Telangana issue. However, it is not know how long does it take for the Centre to arrive at either this way or that way.
“It is not enough to provide a solution; how fast you provide the solution is also very important,” said Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram.
