The Tollywood industry was the first victim for the Telangana heat and there were quite a few instances wherein films, film industry members, shootings had to face the wrath of a political movement for no fault of theirs. But that doesn’t mean the real Telangana people hate films.
 
In fact, they love films in a hardcore way and this can be seen with the way they are awaiting the release of the film ‘Mirchi’. Reports are saying that the ‘Mirchi’ mania is very high at Karimnagar, the hotbed of Telangana. One of the famous theaters Mamatha is covered totally with full of ‘Mirchi’ flexis.
 
On one end, there is the Prabhas factor which has created so much craze and secondly it is the love for cinema that displays so much preparation. This has once again proved how due to a few groups with vested interests a wrong impression is created about Telangana and cinema is very much their staple diet.
