After Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal who is well-known for his predictions on any issue, it is now the turn of Rayalaseema leader and minister for minor irrigation T G Venkatesh who has started making accurate predictions, at least on the Telangana issue.

Venkatesh created a sensation of sorts by making a prediction well in advance that the Congress high command would not take a decision on Telangana before January 28 deadline fixed by home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. And it has now proved absolutely correct, much to the chagrin of the Telangana Congress leaders.

Now, Venkatesh made yet another prediction: that the Congress high command would continue to dodge the Telangana issue till 2014 elections and would reveal its stand only in the election manifesto before the elections.

“I am telling you, there will be no decision on the Telangana issue till 2014 elections. And the party will mention in the election manifesto whether it would give Telangana state or suggest any other solution to the vexed issue,” he said.

Let us wait and see whether this prophesy of Venkatesh will prove correct this time as well!
