After Tamil Nadu, the screening of Kamal Haasan's latest film 'Vishwaroopam' was on Friday also affected in Hyderabad. Police asked distributors to refrain from screening the film in communally sensitive zones only for Friday because of the Milad-un-Nabi festival.
This came a day after the Madras High Court put a stay on 'Vishwaroopam' till January 28. The judge is expected to watch the film on January 26 and then decide.
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan on Thursday reacted strongly to the Tamil Nadu government's decision to ban his latest film 'Vishwaroopam' following protests from some Muslim groups and said such "cultural terrorism" should stop.
