Has Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram turned out be another Prof Jayashankar for Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao?

The TRS president knows that hardcore Telangana activists and intellectuals like Jayashankar, Kodandaram  and R Vidyasagar Rao would add value to his political figure, because he has to project the TRS as an outfit for Telangana movement, rather than just a political party. All said and done, Jayashankar or Kodandaram have given the intellectual facet to the Telangana movement and without them, KCR would remain as a mere politician.

That is precisely why KCR is planning to take Kodandaram along with him to the all-party meeting. In the last meeting, KCR took Prof Jayashankar along with him. Now that Jayashankar is no more, he needs the support of Kodandaram.

But everybody knows how KCR uses the people and dumps them after serving his purpose. He used to say on the stages that Jayashankar was his godfather, but in private, he used to shout at him. His relationship with Kodandaram, too, is not that cordial. But since he needs the support of JAC to run the movement, he is pampering Kodandaram.
